Airlocks + Stoppers (3-Pack)
The bubbling thing on top. Lets CO2 out, keeps everything else out.
≈ $12–$14price range
An airlock is a tiny one-way valve filled with sanitizer. CO2 from fermentation bubbles out; oxygen and bugs stay out. Three-piece airlocks are easier to clean than the S-shaped ones. Get both styles if you want, but three-piece wins for beginners.
Buy a 3-pack. You'll lose one, you'll have two carboys going at once, and they cost almost nothing.
