Fermentation Heating Belt
For when your basement is too cold for the yeast to do their job.
≈ $25–$30price range
Most red wine yeasts want 70–75°F. If your basement runs colder than that — and most do, especially in winter — fermentation slows or stalls.
A heating belt wraps around the carboy or bucket and adds about 8–10°F. Plug it in, leave it. No thermostat needed for most uses, but pair it with the thermometer strip so you don't cook the wine.
